Title of the dataset: East Greek Kantharos in the Academic Art Museum Bonn (Inv. Nr. 2720) 2. Brief description of the research project and its aims: The findspot of the kantharos, dated around the middle of the 6th century BC, is unknown. Nevertheless, it can be assumed, that it was produced in eastern Greece: the decoration of vessel with plastically attached masks is especially known from the Aeolic-Ionic coast of Asia Minor north of Smyrna.
