The corpus comprises 22 Welsh translations and one original Welsh composition. The translations render religious, doctrinal, narrative, and didactic prose from Latin and English source texts; the original composition incorporates translated quotations from biblical and patristic sources. The texts are drawn from both manuscript and early printed sources dating approximately from 1508 to 1612. The dataset is intended to support linguistic, philological, and Digital Humanities research, including historical morphology and syntax, translation studies, and corpus-based analysis.
