While the small canopic chest is of an unusual type, the two coffins are typical examples of their place and time, i.e. Thebes in the 7th century BCE. At a closer look, however, their textual decoration shows some features that have no direct parallel to this day. They thereby testify to the high degree of diversity in choice, arrangement, and modification of traditional elements of decoration which makes each set of funerary equipment individual.
