For each participant we document demographic characteristics, cardiovascular risk factors, angiographic findings (presence and extent of CAD, PCI), laboratory markers of inflammation and metabolism, and medication at the time of the study. In addition, we assess cholesterol crystal (CC) uptake by circulating monocytes and the corresponding cyclodextrin (CD)-related effect (ΔCC) as imaging-/signal–derived measures.
